Founded in 2016, our mission is to provide a space for people to embrace the dull, the mundane, and the unapologetically boring. Whether you’re looking to escape the overstimulating world around us or you simply find joy in the quiet moments, BoringConference.com is here to offer you an alternative. Join us as we explore all things unremarkable in the most entertaining way possible.
Our Founders
BoringConference.com was created by two lifelong friends, Tom Reynolds and Lucy Andrews, who were united by their shared love of things that don’t require excitement to be meaningful. Tom, a former public speaker and event planner, found that the most interesting moments in life often happened in the simplest of settings. Lucy, a writer and cultural critic, realized that there’s an entire world to be discovered in the “boring” things we often overlook. Together, they founded BoringConference.com as a platform to explore the beauty in the mundane and to create a space where boredom can be fun.
